Day 4: Today I cut the board to the size I wanted it. I used a saw to cut it, clamps to hold it in place and a file to take away any rough bits. It measures 47cm x 36cm and is 1½ cm wide. Below is a picture of what the board used to look like and what it looks like now. My experience using a saw will never be forgotten!

Day 5: After a game of netball, I sanded the edges of the board because they felt a bit splintery. I rounded off the edges and with all the hard sanding, some of the printing on the front came off. Mind you it was a very thorough sanding.
